In the last hundred years, the Church in Latin America, Africa, and Asia has expanded so rapidly that it now represents two-thirds of the global Body of Christ. While mission was once perceived as "from the West to the rest," even this mission field is undergoing a transition to being a missionary force, today there is a growing global missionary force, passionate and ready to deploy. They often live geographically or culturally close to the least-reached people groups.
These new missionaries depend on an equally committed and missionary-minded church to send them out. This is where the involvement of Global Perspectives, Spanish Perspectives, and, specifically for our country, Mexico Perspectives, comes in.
Perspectives is the oldest and most recognized mobilization tool for producing profound and sustained transformation in churches and individuals.
The distinctive expression of Perspectives students around the world is "my eyes were opened." Nearly 50 years of history have shown that the experience of "embracing Perspectives" results in transformed lives and churches, which in turn contributes to the transformation of unreached people groups as the gospel spreads among them.
